Description and details

Diving on the Blue Fin in Egypt

Blue Fin is a modern vessel made of superior quality wood. It was first launched in 2005 but was totally revamped in early 2016, making it one of the most in-demand boats, intended to provide a luxurious but unique experience through its interiors and design.

During the night or in between dives, guests may enjoy the fully air-conditioned salon that is equipped with comfortable sofas, a television unit, and other entertainment systems.

Otherwise, sun-loving guests who prefer the open area and salty air may opt to stay in either of the sun decks available – one in the lower deck and another in the upper deck. Sun beds, comfortable tables, and chairs are provided for every guest’s comfort.

Also, Blue Fin boasts a spacious dive deck, where divers could easily prepare for their driving sessions. It is equipped with large storage boxes for their diving gears and a large space to prepare or clean their diving equipment afterward. It is also equipped with fresh water tanks, so divers could take a fresh water shower after the session. Also, there are Nitrox and air fill stations, which are EANx certified, and a battery charging station. The boat also caters rebreather divers.

For the guests’ safety, the boat is equipped with the necessary equipment such as emergency rafts, first aid kit, life jackets, fire fighting system, fire alarms, and smoke detectors. Fire extinguishers are also available in every cabin and in the saloons.

The Cabins

Blue Fin has 12 large rooms that can accommodate up to 24 guests. 3 large king suites are located on the main deck, which are equipped with large double beds, en suite bathroom facilities, air conditioning units, mini refrigerators, and a personal entertainment system including a large plasma screen television in every king suite. The king suites provide a considerably larger space for honeymooners, couples, or anyone who looks for a larger space.

The other 9 rooms are deluxe twins, 8 of which are located in the lower deck and 1 in the upper deck. They are equipped with the same facilities as the king suites except for the large plasma screen television.

Dining

The Blue Cabin crew serves 3 meals a day in buffet style in a large dining area equipped with a A 42-inch television and an entertainment system. Also, snacks, fruits, and drinks are available throughout the day with no additional charges.

Itinerary

Blue Fin will take you to the most beautiful tourist sites in the Red Sea including the Daedalus, St. John’s, and Brother Islands. The latter is famous for the soft and hard corals that are lined in the walls of the island, attracting a variety of fishes such as barracuda, Napoleon wrasses, and unicornfishes. It is also visited for the silver tip and black tip sharks in the area. Guests and divers could also opt to visit the world-famous shipwreck sites like the Thislegor and Abu Nuhas ship cemetery. Surely, divers will be amazed as they feast on the ancient wrecks, stunning marine life, and healthy corals.
