Diving on the Azalea in the Philippines

 

This new liveaboard has friendly and professional crew members and comfortable accommodation. It can offer budget-friendly itinerary packages that will suit everyone’s budget. It has a length of 21m/68.8f with a top speed of 22 knots per hour that can bring tourists to secluded destinations in no time. This boat also has a freshwater maker that can produce 150L per hour.

 

Boat Interior

 

Azalea liveaboard can accommodate a total of 10 guests to its stylish and cozy cabins which have bunk beds and one master cabin located on the lower and upper deck. All cabins have private bathrooms with hot and cold showers, storage for clothing and individual air-conditioning. Housekeeping is daily provided to give guests neat and clean rooms after a day of exploration. There is an indoor saloon with an audio and video entertainment system as well as the sun deck with sun loungers that is a perfect place for relaxation and socialization.

 

Restaurant

 

The professional chef on board serves delicious meals from local and international cuisines made with fresh ingredients from the local market. The buffet-style meals vary every day to suit everyone’s craving and served with free soft drinks as well as other complimentary drinks and tasty desserts. Snacks are available throughout the cruise, and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. Enjoy hot and cold beverages at the fully-stocked bar. We recommend guests to add any specific dietary requirements on the booking form to assist them better on board. Vegetarian options are available. Also, we only cater to requests with food allergies and religious beliefs.

 

Boat Safety

 

We ensure that this liveaboard is ready for every ocean exploration. We also make sure that it follows the Boat Safety checklist before sailing. This boat has necessary boat navigation and safety requirements including life vests placed on every room of this boat, life rafts, fire extinguishers, fire alarm, emergency oxygen, satellite phones, and first aid kits. The professional staff team is ready to manage any situation that might occur on board as well as facilitate first aid.

 

Dive Deck

 

The shaded dive deck has facilities for dive exploration and diver’s personal storage for dive equipment.  There is one dive guide for every five divers on board and crew speaks English and German. Nitrox is available for those with certification and a dive logbook. Rental dive equipment is available for reservation upon booking and needs to be paid on board.

 

Itinerary

 

Charter accommodation is available to enjoy traveling with your friends and family. Enjoy six to seven days of exploration that includes approximately 20 dives including night dives. Expect a warm welcome from the staff with refreshments and snacks. A short briefing and introduction are provided to give guests safety guidelines as well as the itinerary plan. Witness abundant marine life, bird sanctuary, and animals that live within each island. Visit SS Panay, Tubbataha Reef, Jessie Beazley Reef, Barracuda lake and Apo Reef. The Tubbataha National Marine Park has over 600 species of fish, 300 species of corals, 13 species of dolphins and whales, 11 species of sharks. The best time to dive at the Tubbataha Reef is from March to June and the best time to visit the Philippines is during the dry season between November to April when it is unlikely to rain.
