Diving on the Komodo Cruise Anema liveaboard in Indonesia
This liveaboard is made from a unique kind of wood and built for water excursions. It is 20m/65.6 feet long, with a speed of 10 knots per hour and is perfect for any holiday adventure. Fascinating island tours await every tourist for new adventures.
Boat Interior
Ari Jaya is a small traditional boat that can accommodate a total of eight passengers in its double bed cabins on the lower deck. The rooms are spacious and comfortable enough to relax after a day of dive. The shared bathroom located on the middle deck has all the necessities. There is an indoor dining area adjacent to the galley on the main deck and a big shaded deck with mattresses. The top deck has a cozy terrace suitable for sunbaths and relaxation. Socialization areas never leave time for idle moments. The dive deck is located at the stern, with personal gearboxes and a filling station.
Restaurant
The spacious dining area serves delicious local and international food from fresh ingredients. Complimentary drinks and tasty snacks are available throughout the safari. Alcoholic beverages and spirits are available for purchase on board. Guests can reserve vegan, vegetarian and other specific dietary needs upon booking. For other requests, you may talk to our booking agents to assist you better.
Activities
This liveaboard is affordable and ideal for exciting water and land activities. There are four days and five-nights cruises with three dives per day, including night dives depending on the route. Passengers can enjoy onboard kayaks to glide through the pristine ocean water. Snorkeling and scuba diving are the best way to explore the wonders of the ocean and meet abundant schools of fish, pinnacles, coral gardens, underwater mountains, sharks, mantas and eagle rays. Rental dive equipment and snorkeling gear are available on request. This boat accepts cash (Euro, USD, IRD) only. Guests have to secure their payments before entering national parks.
Itinerary
The staff welcomes guests with refreshments and delectable snacks upon checking in. A mandatory briefing and introduction are given to provide guests with safety guidelines together with the itinerary plan. Thousands of marine plants and creatures wander within Castle Rock. There are manta rays, eagle rays, groupers, turtles, tuna, lionfish and pelagic fish. Komodo National Park offers a day of trekking, where famous Komodo dragons, wild boars, horses, water buffalo, and Timor deer reside. Komodo dragons only live in five islands in Indonesia that have a volcanic origin and are full of mighty hills, forests, and grassland. Tourists can relax on the white sandy beaches around the coast, fish along with friends and enjoy the quiet night in the evening.
The best time to visit Indonesia is between May and September when it’s the dry season. It’s not recommended to visit during the wet season, because it may spoil your holiday. There are a total of six crew members on board that are on hand to provide guests with all they need for the entire safari.
