Diving on the Archipel 2 in Galapagos
The Archipel II Catamaran offers exclusive cruises around the fabulous Galapagos islands. The vessel measures at 27 meters and can accommodate up to 16 guest on-board. The boat was built to explore and venture out on the pristine waters of Galapagos.
The liveaboard was built in 2003 and was renovated 2 years ago to maximize efficiency and comfort. The boat has a 2 CUMMINS /6CTA8-3MI engine that reaches a top speed of 10 knots and a cruising speed of 8 knots. Onboard, you will find 8 cabins and 9 bathrooms.
The boat has 2 zodiacs and a water capacity of 1600 gallons. The fuel capacity is 2400 gallons and the liveaboard has the capabilities of making up to 97 gallons of clean water each day.
The boat is also equipped with radar, GPS, emergency rafts, engine room CCTV, life vest, first aid kits, fire alarm, and extinguishers.
The cabins are lavish and carry a modern aesthetic function to them. Each cabin is fully equipped with their own air conditioning with en-suite bathrooms and hot water. The cabins offer stunning views of the ocean, reading lights and ample wardrobe space for your belongings. After a rigorous diving schedule guest can relax on the sun deck while feeling the soft breeze caressing their skin. The food on-board is excellent and is normally served in a buffet style and if you have certain food restriction you must give prior notice so that it can be attended too.
Best time to go
The best time to visit Galapagos is in the cooler months when the heat is not so unbearable especially when hiking on the islands.
The itinerary range from four days to seven nights. The divers should be adapted to dive in cold water. The itinerary is subject to change on the cruise directors instructions.
