Aqua Tiki II liveaboard
The Aqua Tiki II is a magical liveaboard that operates in Tahiti. The liveaboard was made by divers for divers who want to experience the best of what French Polynesia has to offer. The Aqua Tiki II operates inside the Fakarava Biosphere reserve which is home to whales, dolphins, and mantas. You will also have your choice of various activities that include wakeboarding, snorkeling, scuba diving, water skiing, and big game hunting. However, if you want something quieter you can soak up some sun on the sun deck or just enjoy a cold beer while you enjoy the views from the deck.
Interior and features
The Aqua Tiki II can comfortably house 9 guests in 4 en-suite cabins. You will have a choice of one twin cabin, 2 doubles, a double VIP that has a TV, DVD, and stereo. The liveaboard is made in the traditional catamaran-style which enables it to move easily without hindrance. There is a lot of amenities that you will find useful like two trampolines at the front of the liveaboard to soak up some sun between dives. Moreover, there is a dining area and salon that has a reading area a cocktail bar that is ideal for sundowners. The cockpit is shaded with an open table near the barbeque grill that the chef uses to entertain the pallets.
The Aqua Tiki II will also let you do various activities to pass the time between dives. You will have the choice of going kayaking or big game fishing to catch that perfect trophy. The diving schedule isn’t that intense that is why you will have ample opportunity for land excursions and exploring the Tahiti environment.
Food on the liveaboard
The small nature of the boat doesn’t detour the chef from creating amazing dishes. The meals are always freshly prepared and you can expect home-made brioche, pancakes and delicious yogurt creations. You will be spoilt with local and western cuisine and an occasional barbeque.
The small liveaboard will take you to marvelous scuba diving cruises Tahiti. Some of the destinations you will explore are Fakarava Biosphere reserve and drift diving in Paumotu passes. All of these destinations are filled with beauty and an abundance of marine life.
