2 reasons to dive

  • Many said the the land excursions were memorable and people were delighted to see the komodo dragons in their natural habitat.
  • Some people said the dive master knew where the best dive spots were and took them too some hidden gems.

Ananda is a traditional Phinisi two-mast vessel made of Ironwood. It is ideal for families or a group of friends traveling together. Ananda travels across all the Indonesian Islands, and because of its size, is kept available solely for private chartering.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

A 28.35m wood hull traditional Phinisi boat, 3 sumptuous cabins for up to 6 guests. With teak decks and fine furnishing and fittings and stained glass windows and lamps, giving it an oldie worldly glow, a truly luxurious vessel she is a pirate ship from days of yore.

Ananda has been refitted, refurbished and launched as a truly luxurious vessel bringing a new addition to our fleet of liveaboards. She is unique by being a smaller vessel offering three sumptuous cabins for up to six guests making her perfect for a group of friends or a family. Dedicated to bringing you bespoke diving and sailing, she has no fixed schedule and is available for full private charter only. She ranges all over the Indonesian archipelago.

The three Double cabins are below deck, one Master with an extra-wide bed and two Amidships cabins with queen beds, all have A/C, en suite bathrooms with hot and cold water, and enjoy natural lighting from the portholes and skylights. On the Main Deck there is a large shaded area for outdoor dining, or just relaxing between dives, inside there is a large Dining/Lounge area, with stained glass windows and lamps, giving it an oldie worldly glow. There are a sound system and even a guitar and ukulele, they also provide a public laptop, and Wi-Fi when available regionally. On the Top Deck, there is another Lounge area with cushions and a table which provides a great place to enjoy a sunset drink or gaze at the stars after dining on the fine mix of Mediterranean, Austrian and Indonesian cuisine.

Equipped with brand new diving gear: a 215 liter compressor with two 100 Litre backups, tanks, wet suits and a range of BCD’s regs, mask, and fins, there is one 4m tender is equipped with a 15hp engine and a 5.2m aluminium speed boat, with 2 40hp outboards giving her a 25 knot speed to quickly and comfortably take you to the best dive sites. She has a Western Cruise Director and a Dive Instructor with many years of experience.

Snorkeling equipment and Waters Sports including Water Skiing and Tubing are included. Wi-Fi is included but sometimes not available in certain locations.

HOW TO GET THERE

The majority of people traveling to Indonesia arrive on flights into Jakarta, Denpasar in Bali, or Manado in Sulawesi. Jakarta is well connected with most of Asia’s large cities and Europe. Bali has direct flights from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Phuket, Taiwan, Hawaii, and Guam.
