Patagonia is a company that has been doing outdoor gear just a little more responsibly than almost any other brand out there.
This Patagonia backpack is a pretty good example of how the company delivers something unique. The Refugio is at once a sustainable product and one that is very popular with the masses too.
We’ve been testing the 28-liter option in “Forge Grey” (it’s available in 8 other color schemes).
What’s peculiar about the Refugio is the lack of features compared to many other daypacks. In that regard, it resembles a lot of everyday backpacks.
It becomes immediately apparent after a few days of biking around with the Refugio and taking some moderately long and moderately hard hikes that this Patagonia backpack is very light and comfortable.
