Practical & Spacious

Nike. Shoes, apparel, and so much more. The Nike Heritage fanny pack fits into the portfolio of active gear quite well.

This black fanny pack is a very popular model because it’s got a 3-liter capacity, brand recognition and features for a functional, yet fashionable every day.

It’s roomy enough to carry beyond your bare essentials. We went hiking and stored a 22 oz water bottle in it with room to spare.

This hip bag that gets most often worn crossbody can be a great add-on to your Nike gear collection as well.

But is it worth it, or is it all just brand hype?

We gave it a whorl in the wilderness and through the concrete jungle as well.

Nike Heritage

Stay classic, secured, and hands-free.

The Nike Heritage Hip Pack gives you a belt bag with colorways that both men and women can wear. You can stick to the all-time black or opt for those with a 2-tone color combo.

This black fanny pack for men also has a women’s counterpoint, available in blue with pink straps and green zipper pulls. There’s also a white one with a black belt as well. Mind you, these variations come at a higher price. Must be Nike’s sense of exclusivity.

But for you all adventurous bum bag lovers out there, you can get a surprise color combination with the Cotopaxi Bataan Del Dia Fanny Pack. The best part? No colorway is ever the same!

Nike Heritage Hip Pack opens and closes with a couple of zipper pulls, making it easy to access your items. It is a nice compromise given the length of this Nike fanny pack model.

Imagine the hassle of zipping all the way when wearing it the traditional way. That’s just meh.

Now, one thing we always look for in fanny packs are secure pockets. The Nike Heritage Hip Pack will keep your valuables safe in its rear pocket. Even the inner mesh pocket has a zip. It is a plus compared to other belt bags from well-known competitors like Herschel and Cotopaxi.

Let’s talk about the downsides. Sorry but this Nike fanny pack doesn’t have any clip or headphone hole. If those conveniences headline your preferences, you might want to check out Maxtop Fanny Pack and Waterfly Fanny Pack. Both come at a very affordable price too!

Overall, the Nike Heritage Hip Pack has a great capacity, good organization options in a cool and versatile bag.

And to be honest, that’s good enough to consider adding this Nike fanny pack to your collection.

Is it for you?

Nike Heritage Hip Pack is an efficient companion whether you’re out conquering Cathedral Rock or having fun riding all you can in Six Flags. Sneak in your water bottle, some granola bars in the main pocket, while your phone and cards can go inside the rear compartment. Your keys can stay put in the inner mesh pocket to avoid scratching your phone.

This model of Nike fanny pack is a must-try if you’re a biker or a skater. You’ll almost forget you’re wearing one the crossbody way or around your waist while riding. Although a polyethylene back padding like in Champion Signal Fanny Pack will help protect your thing from impacts.

Nike Heritage Hip Pack won’t let you down during your beach visits either. Slip your

sunscreen, shades, and selfie stick. You still have plenty of room for

your lip gloss and a small hand sanitizer. Pack up your iPhone Pro Max in the back pocket along with your cards.

Make your grocery stops and shopping easy-peasy. Meaning there’s no need to worry about losing your purse. Throw in everything you need in this Nike fanny pack, and off you go.

Size-wise, it’s got a tapered bottom so expect it to be less spacious. It’s relatively long to counter the lack of width. But for the same reason, wearing Nike Heritage Hip Pack around your waist can be a little awkward, particularly if you have a small body frame.

If that turned you off, see smaller belt bags like Patagonia Black Hole Mini Hip Pack.

How does it compare to other fanny packs?

Nike Heritage Hip Pack used 100% polyester, light, durable, and water-resistant. Waterproof? Per fibril, yes. But after it’s interwoven into a fabric? Nope. There are small holes between the threads where water can penetrate. It’s a famous material used for outdoor items. Maxtop Fanny Pack, Champion Signal Fanny Pack, and JanSport Fifth Avenue Fanny Pack are also polyester-made.

With that said, taking it on your waterfall chasing adventure might not be a good idea. Waterproof belt bags are expensive. If you plan on getting one, it’s better to opt for waterproof backpacks instead. You’ll have roomy space for all your outdoor gear as well.

Equipped with easy-to-adjust thick and durable straps, this Nike fanny pack model won’t wear out quickly. You can also keep away any excess strap length with the help of the elastic loops on both straps. It’s a simple yet effective approach. Unlike the plastic clip you’ll see in Herschel Fourteen Waist Pack. It annoyed us a bit since the extra straps keep on falling off.

If you’re a Nike fanatic, you know that their stitching is on point. It’s a big deal since poor stitching affects your Nike fanny pack’s lifespan. You don’t want to end up with a bum bag with snagged threads everywhere.

There’s no padding of any sort in the back section of Nike Heritage Hip Pack. It’s a drawback not only for its breathability but its overall structure. It’s flimsy, and it doesn’t hold up to its shape, which is a little sad. Mesh padding on the back could be of use for more comfort, and we can all agree that adding a couple more bucks for it wouldn’t hurt.

If you sweat a lot, using this Nike fanny pack might irritate you. Check out padded belt bags like Waterfly Fanny Pack and Champion Signal Fanny Pack.

For around $25, Nike Heritage Hip Pack is a high-quality product worth its price. Even though it’s not the complete package, you won’t be disappointed with its durability and the security it provides.

Other cheaper options offer you more features, yes. But you can’t expect a lot when it comes to their quality.
