The True North is a fantastic liveaboard that has trips all year round to Australia, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea. The Yacht can house up to 36 guests. The staterooms are spread over 3 decks and each has in-cabin entertainment, satellite telephone, and ample storage space.
Diving can be done by all guest and you can choose how many or how little dives you want to complete. The True North is full of luxury and enjoyment is its top priority.

Diving on the True North in Australia
True North – luxurious floating hotel
The 50 meters (approx. 164 feet) vessel is offering its dive safari adventures since 2005. It cruises at a maximum speed of 14 knots and is stable enough to face the vigorous water flow. It is built to perfection and provides the maximum level of comfort and facilities to 36 guests onboard. These guests are accommodated in 16 deluxe cabins. The sturdy yacht has exclusive access which allows divers to enjoy multiple activities which a large boat or rubber boat are not able to offer. You can experience the classic twin fall of the famous King George River and many activities from the private helicopter of the boat. You can reach plenty of sites with the flying service which are available exclusively for the guests of the True North liveaboard.
Boat Interior – splendid design and ornate style
The epitome interior and affluent design make it an extravagant liveaboard that sails in the buoyant sea. Maximum 36 guests can be hosted in 16 grand cabins which are located on the lower and main deck respectively. All the cabins have personalized in-room entertainment systems, a/c with a temperature control system, and storage areas for keeping personal stuff and luggage. The cabins are classified as River and Explorer Class cabins and have twin beds which can be joined to make it a double bed if traveling with family. There are many communal areas onboard with include a large indoor saloon, an alfresco bar, and the splendid dining room located on the lower deck that gives a restaurant like-look. Every part of the boat is specifically designed to fulfill all the vital needs of the travelers.
Deck Area – dive deck, sun deck, and helipad
The adventure-filled dive is done from the dive area where the divers can get ready to plunge in the turquoise blue waters. The spacious observation deck is one of the main attractions for the guests, which is located on the bow of the vessel. You can enjoy your drink with the mesmerizing vistas in the alfresco bar. The helipad on the top has a private helicopter which helps in numerous personalized excursions of remote sites. It usually stays on the liveaboard and the activities are scheduled day-to-day. There is a large sun deck which invites the sun lovers to enjoy sunbathing and absorbing the bright sunrays in the lazy afternoons.
Food and Entertainment
There is much more than diving for the travelers of True North, you can go fishing, snorkeling or capture the moments to create memories. The onboard indoor entertainment activities include a/v entertainment, music, and free internet access. The big windows are installed all over the boat so that you don’t miss a single natural beauty and untouched landscapes in your surroundings. To spoil the guests more, the chefs prepare scrumptious meals thrice a day and serve it in buffet style, so that you have options to select from that variety. Drinks and selective snacks are available throughout the day.
