The Stella Maris Explorer was launched in 1980 and has had some major upgrades and renovations in 2018. The length of the boat is 33 meters/108 feet long and accommodate up to 21 guests. The itinerary will take you to Tubbataha in the Sulu Sea and Apo Reef & Coron. The liveaboard brings all the comforts you would expect from a luxurious yacht.

Diving on the Stella Maris Explorer in the Philippines

A fantastic experience awaits

Stella Maris Explorer will be a fantastic liveaboard and a dream realized by many enthusiastic divers. The liveaboard produces all year round diving experiences across the Philippines. Stella Maris can accommodate up to 21 guests in compact cabins. The crew are always attentive and have been navigating the Philippines waters for many years. The liveaboard is well equipped to handle some of the most demanding divers. If you need additional equipment you can rent it on the boat itself.

 Interior of the liveaboard

10 cabins can be found in the interior of the boat. They are retro-chic cabins that are spread out throughout 3 decks. You will have the choice of deluxe, premium or economy cabins. They come equipped with memory foam mattresses and pillows on twin, double or queen size beds. All of the cabins have en-suite bathrooms with air-conditioning on the Stella Maris Explorer. The cabins also have ample storage space to store all of your private belongings. You will also a large saloon that is fitted with a big TV and dining area where meals and most of your leisure time will be spent. The interior is very homely and you will feel like you never left the house.

Stella Maris Explorer Cuisine

The chef and the staff in the kitchen are extra diligent in preparing the most mouth-watering dishes. Most of the products are locally farmed for the freshest of fruit and vegetables. The fish supplies are obtained from local markets and are also captured on the liveaboard itself. There are 3 meals served every day with an abundance of snacks that include fresh fruit, vegetables, and proteins. Breakfast is normally served at 6 am at lunch and dinner switches according to the dive cycles.

The itinerary will take you to breathtaking diving sites all year round. Some of the best dive sites can be experienced in the Tubbataha in the Sulu Sea and Apo Reef & Coron. You can expect up to 4 dives per day that are filled with sharks, mantas, dolphins and lots of macro marine life on the Stella Maris Explorer.
