Diving on the Sea World 1 liveaboard in Thailand

The dream comes true onboard Sea World 1. As the name suggests, there’s a whole new world on this ship designed specifically for divers… a pure marvel!

Liveaboarding is one of the most enjoyable experiences one can have in their life, the combination of new cultures, sea diving, and rare exciting marine life is not something so easily accessible but we rendered that way with the best companion you can ask for: the 22 meters/ 72 feet long Sea World 1 dive boat.

Vessel features

On this magnificent ship, there are 9 cabins on the main deck for a maximum of 18 guests. You can choose from VIP cabins which have their individual showers and toilets or simple double and twin cabins. All of the latter are provided with air conditioning, sea views, and all comfort necessities.

Activities in-between dives

You can relax in the indoor saloon watching some movies or plain TV or you can have a swift tan on the sun deck. But all do not compare to the mouth-watering food our talented chef prepares; they excel in exotic cuisine whether it is Thai, Chinese, Burmese or Indian where you can get a taste of their delicious culture or you can opt for western, vegetarian or vegan meals instead which are equally tasty. Don’t worry, drinks, beer, and snacks are available all day long as well.

Sea World 1 Crew members

Our well-chosen team is made up of professional and competent divers and deck crew, every member is trained to guide you through the whole process and make your stay very pleasant. Hence, our trip is for pro divers, amateur divers, and even non-divers. Nitrox is at everyone’s disposal and we provide gear for rental and dive tenders.

What to expect

The trip is made to sail the coast of the “Land of smiles” – Thailand and Myanmar in The Andaman Sea. Together, we’ll explore the Richelieu Rock, Koh Bon, Surin Islands and the Mergui Archipelago. You’ll have a chance to witness the crystal clear waters, the sandy white beaches and especially the breathtaking sea animals like the giant whale sharks, manta rays and the sea horses. The Mergui Archipelago in southern Myanmar actually opened to foreign tourists in 1997, for the first time in 50 years. The crossing of the border is done in Ranong, it is frequent to meet silky sharks, especially on the very famous site of the Burma Banks. Did you know that about nine species of sharks are present in Myanmar waters? These species include hammerhead shark, bulldog, tiger, gray and even more exciting: the weaver shark! You can also see coral and white-tipped sharks. You can also discover small creatures (critters) that are hard to ignore, such as shrimp, crabs, and lobsters of all colors, sizes, and shapes, as well as the rare frogfish, cuttlefish, ghost fish, and octopus!
