The Safari Voyager was built in 1982 and renovated in 2016 and is large enough to house up to 66 passengers. This liveaboard has four decks and is still in pristine condition. This cruise ship is ideal for experiencing the best of Costa Rica and Panama. The boat has a length of 53meters/174ft and a beamwidth of 10meters/36ft. It can reach a cruising speed of 9 knots. Moreover, there are 36 cabins on this liveaboard that has all the comforts of home.

There is a crew ratio of 2:1 which means you have ensured a personal and intimate experience onboard the Safari Voyager. All of the crew members are from Costa Rica or Panama but they can speak English fluently.

This spacious vessel can accommodate up to 66 guests in 36 stylish cabins that scream luxury. You will have the choice of choosing between six different cabin types that spread over three decks. All of the cabins have air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. In the rooms, you will find a window, TV/DVD player, bathrobes and a desk or cupboard for storing your personal belongings.
Relaxation and activities on the Safari Voyager
There are many things to do on this liveaboard which means you will never go, board. There is an expansive sun deck that you can utilize to work on your tan. You can also head down to the salon area and catch up on some reading. If you prefer something more labor-intensive you can check out the gym equipment or the yoga mats for a fun work out session. When you have completed your workout you can grab a massage in the massage room. Furthermore, you can go swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, skiffs, and snorkeling. The more adventurous guests will borrow some hiking poles and venture onto dry land for land excursions.
Food on the liveaboard
The Safari Voyager has a lavish dining area where all the guests come together for meals. Meals are served three times a day and the chef will always come up with something unique to satisfy your taste-buds. Alcohol beverages and soft drinks are complimentary whiles on board. They also cater to special dietary requirements as long as you mention these beforehand.
Itinerary
This liveaboard will take you to great destinations for land excursions and snorkeling. A normal dive itinerary will last between 7-10 nights. Some of the places you will visit include Osa Conservation Area, Panama Canal, Curú National Wildlife Refuge and Coiba National Park. These are great destinations that are sure to intrigue the most seasoned of traveller.
