Diving on the Nautilus Two in the Maldives
The Nautilus Two offers seven nights and up to 2 weeks liveaboard trips to the Central and Southern Maldives. At 43 meters/141 feet long, and bigger than its sister ship the Nautilus One, this spacious liveaboard accommodates 24 people in 12 luxury cabins.
Due to its size, cabins in the Nautilus Two are the largest on any liveaboard in the Maldives. All 12 cabins have ample storage room, large private toilets with massage showers, individually controlled AC and a large deck and side hatches that allow for natural lighting and adequate ventilation. 230V power supply for European outlets is available round the clock.
Boat features
All the cabins have the same design and are equipped with a king size double bed and a single king bed (however, just two guests are allowed per cabin). Ten cabins are located on the lower deck and two on the middle deck.
The social areas are located on the main deck. There is a beautiful indoor saloon which features comfortable sofas, a TV and audio system and a fully licensed bar offering a wide selection of drinks, including wine, cocktails and even beer on tap. A coffee shop serves coffee, tea, freshly squeezed fruit juices, and sandwiches all day long.
Guests can also relax on the main deck in between or after dives. The front of the boat offers comfortable chairs in the shade, as well as an amazing hot tub from which you can enjoy the stunning views while catching the light breeze with a drink in your hand. On the rear end, a covered sitting area with a lowered platform is the ideal entry and exit point for swims in the beautiful Maldivian lagoons and is also the perfect fishing spot for the enthusiasts of this activity.
All meals are served buffet style in the cozy parlor. Meals are freshly prepared and are a combination of Asian and Western cuisine. Guest can enjoy colorful cocktails, soft drinks, red and white wine, beers, a selection of various spirits at the bar. In the coffee shop freshly squeezed fruit juices, milkshakes and sandwiches are served. Hot tea and coffee are also available around the clock for free.
All diving is done from the dhoni and is supervised by experienced dive guides. Nitrox is available, and diving equipment can be rented.
With the safety of the utmost importance as in most diving boats, the Nautilus Two is equipped with all the required safety equipment such as first aid kits, life jackets, life rafts, fire alarm system, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, etc.

The best time to go diving aboard the Nautilus Two is between October and May.
Logistics
The trip begins and ends at the Velana Airport in Male. Therefore, no additional domestic travel is required. Guests are picked from the airport and transferred to the boat where they are checked in by 9 am on the arrival date. They are briefed on safety and other schedules before they are shown their cabins. On the departure date, they are checked out between 7-9 am and returned to the airport from where they can fly back to their various destinations.
Itinerary
The itinerary on the Nautilus Two varies from 7 nights to 14 days. There are 17 dives per week including I night dive depending on weather conditions. There are no dives on the arrival day. There are about 2-3 dives per day. There are two dives on the day before departure and no diving is done on the departure day.
