Diving on the MY Letty in Galapagos
MY Letty – evoke an ancient era of exploration
The 25 meters (approx. 82 feet) MY Letty was constructed in 1991. It has been refurbished 3 years ago with ultra-modern features and opulent interior. It is renovated annually to ensure high-standard comfort and luxuries to its guests. MY Letty has an identical sister MY Eric, together they sail in the turquoise blue water of the Galapagos and offer a year-round cruise to the best destinations and archipelago of Galapagos. There are 2 itineraries A and B respectively, which can be cruised for 7 nights trip. San Cristobal, Espanola Island, Floreana Island, Santa Cruz Island, Bartolome, and South Plaza Islands are few major routes of the majestic liveaboard. While cruising at these itineraries, you can explore the vast wildlife, countless underwater species, variety of sharks, dolphins, marine iguanas, giant tortoise, colonies of birds, and much more.
Boat Interior
The magnificent sailing beauty welcomes 20 guests in its 10 commodious cabins. these cabins are completely air-conditioned and the temperature of the cabin can be adjusted according to the need of the traveler. Each cabin has an en-suite bathroom with washbasin and shower, hairdryer, closet, and porthole or windows for a charismatic view of the surrounding. There is an individual intercom system in every room for housekeeping and room service All these cabins are designed perfectly and offer a sea-facing view from the portholes or windows. There are plenty of communal spaces like an indoor and outdoor lounge, dining room, sundeck, and al fresco dining area.
Deck Area
There are 3 main decks in the amazing vessel. The dolphin deck is spacious enough and has 4 cabins and an observation area. The booby deck of Letty liveaboard has 2 cabins, conference room, dining area and a posh bar with high chairs around. The last deck is the Iguana deck, it has 2 cabins and quarters for the crew of the boat. There are plenty of deck chairs, wooden sofas, sun loungers and much more to provide comfort and maximum relaxation to the guests onboard. You can soak the bright sun or gaze at the starling sky at night on these decks and enjoy your own solitude with the stunning liveaboard MY Letty.
Food and Entertainment
The main reason for planning a vacation is adventure and entertainment. Both these things are given utmost priority by the phenomenal liveaboard. The cruise director organizes day-to-day adventurous dives, hiking, and beach excursions. Whereas, there is an assortment of in-house entertainment on the liveaboard during the traveling time. The indoor salon is completely air-conditioned and features a large LED TV, DVDs, music and a mini-library. The expert chef knows well how to please the appetite of the people from different regions. Food is served in buffet with an international, local and continental menu on the list.
When to go
Galapagos and the cluster of islands welcome visitors throughout the year. But to be specific, there are two high seasons – warm and dry. The months of December till May are the warm season. In these months, the bright rays of the sun strike the clear and cloudless sky. The months from June to November are considered best for sharks’ lover. You can have amazing visibility of a variety of sharks that are crowding the crystal-clear water of the Galapagos.
