Diving on My Jessica in Egypt

MY Jessica is 39 meters/127 feet long with a speed of 10 knots per hour. It was built
in 2009 and renovated with a complete upgrade in 2015. This vessel has four decks
that can provide ample space for any onboard activities.

Boat Interior

This cruise ship can accommodate a total of 30 guests to its 15 comfortable cabins.
There are eight twins and a queen on the lower deck, four deluxe cabins on the main
deck and two twins on the upper deck. Each room has air-conditioning, private
bathrooms, storage boxes for personal clothing, and 220V power supply.
A sky deck is an open place with sofas where guests can enjoy their time
sunbathing. Passengers can enjoy socializing at the two relaxation areas on the
upper deck. There is an open area with couches on the front deck and a shaded
area with benches, tables and a lounge bar located at the back deck. Every onboard
traveller can visit the air-conditioned saloon complete with an entertainment system.
There is a small library full of magazines and marine life books.

Adjacent to the saloon is the dining area on the main deck, where the crew on board
serve buffet-style meals three times a day. The chef prepares freshly made dishes
from local and international cuisines. There is a self-service bar for complimentary
beverages and snacks available all day long. A selection of wines, beers, and other
non-free drinks are available for purchase. We advise guests to hand in their notice
in advance for vegetarian and other specific dietary requirements upon booking.

Dive Deck

The dive deck has personal gearboxes for divers, camera storage, large rinse tanks,
and an in-place fill station. Along with that are the freshwater showers, fin storage
area, and a shared bathroom available to use after a day of underwater exploration.
Also, Nitroz membrane compressor, two air compressors and two-speed boats used
for diving.
MY Jessica can provide free Nitrox for those with certification and a complete set of
diving equipment available for rent. The experienced dive guides will escort scuba
divers during the whole week of the journey with a minimum of 16 dives including
night dives.

The staff aboard will welcome guests with complimentary drinks upon arrival. A
detailed itinerary briefing is given before the cruise. Ras Mohammed National Park is
a famous worldwide dive destination with a vast quantity of coral reefs and other
marine life. It is known for shipwrecks, including the famous SS Thistlegorm. St.
Johns offers a colorful coral garden, pinnacles, and a variety of pelagic fishes. Pods
of bottlenose dolphins hunt in search of food in this area. The Red Sea is famous for
oceanic white-tips, tiger sharks, whale sharks, hammerheads and other varieties of
sharks. MY Jessica invites everyone to travel to the Red Sea whole year round. The
best season to visit the Red is during the months of September, March, and April.
These months have a pleasant daytime temperature which is the best time for
sunbathing and snorkeling.
