MV Spirit of Freedom was built in 1992. It has a vast experience of sailing in the crystal-clear blue water of Australia. You can enjoy a 3,4- and 7-day diving safari adventure to the best dive site of Australia including Great Barrier Reef, the Coral Sea, Cod Hole, and the most happening Far Northern expedition. MV Spirit of Freedom – dive at the most iconic dive sites of Australian water
The 37 meters (approx. 121 feet) steel-hulled vessel was completely refurbished in 2008 and has been maintained annually to assure the high-level comfort and best performance. MV Spirit of Freedom is a lavish liveaboard sailing in the high seas for a long time. The matchless and personalized services offered by the well-trained crew include supervised dives, delicious food and the utmost care, which makes you feel comfortable and pampered. You can enjoy the fun-filled adventurous dives at Cod Hole and Ribbon Reef. You can witness the presence of sweetlips, scorpionfish, and triggerfish. There are plenty of playful seahorses and other fish species.

Spirit of Freedom can welcome 26 travelers with the utmost hospitality. There are 11 spacious cabins to accommodate these guests. These cabins are located on the upper and lower decks and categorized as standard and deluxe. There is a quad room, which is perfect for a family vacation. This cabin is slightly bigger as compared to other cabins onboard. All the cabins feature an en-suite bathroom, air-con and storage space. Even if you are relaxing you won’t miss a single view from the portholes in the cabins, which offer charismatic views of the surrounding.
Deck Area
The large dive deck has separate stations for 26 guests. It is fully equipped with facilities like a hanging stand to keep the belongings before dive, camera station, rinsing tank, fresh water shower, and rental equipment. There is a separate dive platform, which makes diving easier and more convenient. When not engaged in diving, guests of the stunning liveaboard can relax on the social areas on the top and main deck. The top deck has a partially covered area, which has cushioned corner seats, timber wood tables, and beautifully crafted chairs. There are multiple sun loungers on the sundeck, where you can enjoy your own solitude in the fresh sea breeze and get fascinated with the astonishing views of the surrounding.
Food and Entertainment
There is a wide range of in-house entertainment and fun-filled activities organized by the cruise director. The large flat screen 42” TV is usually the main focus of guests in the lounge, you can watch your dive slideshow, movies of your choice or documentaries. You can also avail the internet facilities over wireless absolutely free if it’s in range. You can enjoy healthy and freshly cooked food in the dining room. There is a variety of local, western and vegan menu on the list. Spirit of Freedom has a licensed bar from where you can get some exclusive Australian and New Zealand wines, beer and soft drinks. Complimentary wine is served after dinner.
When to go
The dive sites of Australia are easily accessible and suitable in all weather conditions. The average temperature of water at Great Barrier Reef ranges between 22 -29-degree centigrade. It offers the best diving conditions from September to November.
