Diving on the MV Sea Spirit in the Maldives

The MV Sea Spirit measures 26 meters or about 85 feet. As a luxury liveaboard, it sports a saloon on its main deck. The area is ideal for open-air dining and relaxation. Comfy chairs and tables match these purposes.

The saloon is also equipped with a TV and a multimedia player with a surround sound system to give guests a true home theater experience. A good selection of DVDs is available from where movie titles and documentaries can be picked up for watching.

For unwinding experiences, a sun deck is a comfortable place. It is a spot where one can enjoy time soaking in the sun, the reclined chairs, conversations, and drinks can be best enjoyed while gazing at the picturesque views created by the fusion of sea and sky from a distance.

The Cabins

Comfortable accommodation is assured with Sea Spirit. Capable of accommodating 12 guests in its 6 spacious cabins, the liveaboard is a genuine example of comfort, elegance, luxury, and adventures above and under the water.

Four of its cabins are doubles but can be converted to twins when needed. The remaining two cabins are also doubles. Each of the cabins has individual air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms.

Food and Beverage

To complement the great features while cruising aboard Sea Spirit is the selection of chef-prepared foods. Inspired by the selections of Western and local cuisines, guests will surely enjoy the satisfying dishes served to them. Three full meals comprised of breakfast, lunch and dinner are meticulously served each day with options for vegans and vegetarians.

All throughout the day, equally-delicious snacks are served. These are perfectly suited to re-energize the guests in between dives or other activities aboard the ship. Tea, coffee, juice, carbonated drinks, and even beer and wine can be enjoyed to match the sumptuous meals and snacks.

For guests who have dietary restrictions, accommodating such options can be done by giving advance notices upon booking. It is generally advised that food restrictions be limited to allergic reactions and religious inclinations.

Itinerary

A regular of the Maldivian islands, this liveaboard gracefully cruises the sapphire-blue waters of this paradise place. Passing through its atolls, guests can enjoy the scenery outside, the white sand, and seas just below the scorching sun.

Frequenting the routes of the Central Atolls, the cruises typically last for 13 days or 12 nights, although there are options for 8 days or 7 nights of cruising.

Land excursions are included in each cruise, giving opportunities for beach barbeques, beach explorations, and other land-based activities.

Diving activities in the best spots of the Maldives open one’s world to a seemingly endless underwater paradise where there is an abundance of marine life such as fish, corals, sharks, dolphins, sponges, jellyfish, sea turtles, crustaceans, mollusks, and a whole lot more.
