MV Coral Discoverer was previously known as Oceanic Discoverer and Oceanic Princess. It was built in 2005 and was last refurbished in November 2016. The lavish expedition cruise is operating in the regions of Australia and Oceania, sailing from the homeport Cairns, North Queensland. It is registered under the world-wide operation of the International Convention for the SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea). Owned and flagged under the Australian Flag with the best and talented crew in their respective fields. Boat Interior
The palatial vessel has everything that a vacationer needs to have an incredible stay on the cruise. The ornate interior of the liveaboard compliments well with the features, which are offered to the guests of Coral Discoverer. The chivalrous and genteel crew welcomes 72 travelers onboard with great hospitality. There are 36 grand cabins in total to accommodate the guests with the utmost facilities and comfort. The cabins are ranged from the Main deck to Bridge deck cabins. All these cabins feature en-suite facilities with private bathrooms, air-con, beautiful artwork, power sockets, storage area, branded toiletries with large windows. Almost every cabin has a private balcony except the lower deck cabins, which offers portholes so that guests staying in the lower deck cabins should not miss any view of the surrounding.
Deck Area
The ultra-modern liveaboard Coral Discoverer has 4 four decks – sundeck, bridge deck, promenade deck, and main deck. These deck features all the communal areas including indoor lounge, a cocktail bar with fancy high chairs, dining room, and partially covered sundeck with plenty of sun loungers and deck chairs for the travelers to enjoy the lazy noon with fresh sea breeze and turquoise blue water as far as you can see. The dive platform at the back of the boat provide comfort and make dive easier for the novice divers.
Food and Entertainment
The communal areas of the Coral Discoverer are not only ostentatious in design but also provide comfort, space, and entertainment. The indoor saloon has everything that keeps the guests entertained when they are not busy diving or other surface activities. It is fully air-conditioned and has a large flat-screen TV, DVDs, mini-library so that you can grab a book to pass your leisure time and board games. Other than entertainment, food has also given the major priority. The expert chef with his team prepares scrumptious food with International, Italian, and Seafood on the menu. Each day, guests can have a delicious surprise until they uncover the lid.
