It was launched in 2004 and was utterly renovated in the year 2018 along with enhancements of ultra-modern technology. The stylish Phinisi Seahorse is among those few sailing yachts that offer all the luxurious necessities and safe diving, that makes the dive trips some one of the most memorable ones. The itineraries of Seahorse include the famous dive sites of Indonesia including Raja Ampat, Banda Sea, Triton Bay, and Cenderawasih Bay.

It has the capacity to welcome 16 guests onboard the 8 lavish cabins. 12 crew members are friendly and vigilant. They are always there to assist and guide you throughout the trip. The classic beauty ensures a swift trip with a sailing speed of 9-12 knots. Diving with Seahorse will provide you an opportunity to explore over 3000 fish species swimming in the water of Indonesia. Some more attractions include over 600 corals (soft and hard), deep water trenches, wrecks of World War II and numerous other sea creatures. While diving in these sites, there is always a chance to discover something new.
Boat Interior – designed by divers for divers
The spacious liveaboard is designed by divers and that’s the reason behind its perfection. Designers of the phinisi have kept their focus on providing comfort and ease for the divers onboard. The practical rigged Sulawesi schooner has the capacity to welcome 16 guests in 8 deluxe cabins. The lower deck has 6 standard cabins from which 4 are twin bed cabins and the rest are double bed cabins. There are 2 deluxe cabins located on the main deck, which give mesmerizing sea views. The structure of the entire boat is constructed from timber (ironwood teak) by the dexterous carpenters famous for their skills. The facilities onboard make this vessel a comfortable and luxurious floating hotel, which is one of the best vessels of its kind.
Deck Areas – divers and non-divers both can enjoy the onboard facilities
The dive deck has enough space for divers to prepare themselves before the dive and rinse their equipment after the dive. You can also avail the facility of Nitrox which is absolutely free of charge for the EANx certified divers. If you are not certified yet, Seahorse also provides you the facility to get that certification onboard. The stairs lead towards the sundeck which is spacious and has a communal space. Guests can enjoy their time-off dives by relaxing of the sun lounges.
Food and Entertainment
The indoor air-conditioned saloon of the luxurious Seahorse is the best area to spend the lazy afternoon. The alluring phinisi offers a variety of entertainment for its guests onboard, including audio-video entertainment, music, DVDs or you can simply have a chat with the fellow divers. The epitome interior of the dining area gives a restaurant look. A freshly prepared meal is served three times a day with an option to choose from a variety of Indonesian and western cuisines. The food is presented in a buffet-style and prepared by the expert chef onboard.
When to go
The amazing Sulawesi schooner offers visits to the famous dive site Raja Ampat from the month of December to May. The temperature of the water is between 27 degrees to 30 degrees. The diving site Komodo can be explored from July to September. Autumn and Spring are considered best for diving in Indonesia, as the climatic condition and visibility are fantastic during these seasons.
