The 32 meters (approx. 105 feet) liveaboard was built in 2008 by the famous boat builders of South Sulawesi. They originally constructed the yacht for their personal use to explore the Indonesia sea from the famous site of Sumatra to Papua. Because of their own use, they constructed the boat with the best local ironwood and teak, which is considered as the best material for boat construction. The wooden Sulawesi vessel is perfectly designed for providing a comfortable stay on board. It has all the vital amenities that are necessary to have a pleasant dive safari adventure. It is spacious to welcome 14 travelers in 7 commodious cabins. You can choose cabins from deluxe to standard, as the 4 standard cabins are with bunk beds and deluxe cabins are furnished with double and twin beds. These cabins have en-suite bathrooms, hot/freshwater showers, washbasins, and windows so that you don’t miss a single view while staying in the cabin.
Deck Area – large deck to enjoy the astonishing vista of the archipelago
The custom-built diving liveaboard offers the best services for all types of diving. The dive deck is equipped with snorkeling equipment, tanks with yoke valves, rinsing tanks and rental equipment. There is a separate camera charging station, where divers can charge and maintain their cameras. Non-divers can spend their time on the large sundecks. There are 2 sundecks, which are spacious and furnished with sun loungers, bean bags, and mattresses. You can enjoy your lazy noon in a cozy atmosphere while enjoying a chilled drink or a cup of tea.
Food and Entertainment
The cruise manager organizes plenty of fun-filled activities onboard as well as land excursions. There are multiple in-house facilities which can be availed absolutely free. There is a non-smoking area for the smoke of allergic guests. The is an option for indoor and outdoor dining. Guests can select to have their meal in the indoor dining area or the open space on the deck while enjoying the 360-degree panoramic view. The chef onboard prepares delicious food of local and international cuisines along with tempting desserts. When to go
KLM Mari offers intimate and luxurious cruises throughout the year. You can explore Komodo and the surrounding islands from July – October for a 5 days short trip or a 10 nights long trip.
