Diving on the Katharina Cruise Ship in Indonesia
This boat was built in 1995 with the continuous renovation and safety upgrades. Katharina liveaboard is 40m/131.23 feet length with the total speed of nine knots per hour as well as tenders and freshwater desalinator. The interior of this boat shows Indonesian culture from the main deck up to every room of this boat.
Boat Interior and Amenities
This vessel can welcome a total of 14 guests to its seven comfortable cabins. All cabins are located on the lower deck with individual air-condition, storage for clothing, safety boxes, and individual private bathrooms. There is daily housekeeping to keep the boat neat and clean together with fresh towels for all guests. The spacious air-conditioned saloon is suitable for all onboard activities with audio and video entertainment system that provides the latest movies and a fully stocked bar. The sun deck has cushioned sitting perfect for ocean viewing and sunbathing. The small library has full of magazine and marine life books for children as well as young-at-heart to learn more about the things that surround the Indonesian ocean. There is a charging station, warm water showers and separate rinse tanks for underwater equipment ready to use every after water and land excursions. Rental snorkeling equipment can be reserved upon booking and paid in cash aboard.
Restaurant
The chef on board serves a delectable variety of local and international cuisines in a buffet-style meal, together with complimentary beverages and snacks in between meals. The bar on board has hot and cold drinks, mineral water and other beverages. Alcoholic drinks and spirits are available on purchase. We advise guests to add their specific dietary requirements on the booking form to assist them better onboard.
Boat Safety and Navigation
The main priority of our management is safety, and our staff members are well-trained to give first aid to render any help in an emergency. There are life vests, emergency rafts, fire alarms, and first aid kits accessible all day. This vessel has necessary boat navigation equipment for a smooth and safe voyage.
Activities
Activities are endless that never leaves a dull moment during the cruise. Children can watch the latest movies, read books while other guests can socialize and share their experiences. Every destination has magnificent adventures that await everyone to be challenged. Snorkeling is the best way to view wonderful marine life creatures and aquatic plants. Kayaks add an extra challenge for those who love to move with the ocean waves. Other activities available are rock climbing, kite surfing, wakeboarding and more.
Itinerary
The staff onboard guests with refreshments and snacks upon checking in. A short briefing and introduction are given to provide guests with safety guidelines and an itinerary plan as well. The itinerary cruises across Flores to secluded destinations around Bali. Enjoy the beachside resort outside port town Labuan Bajo going to Komodo National Park. Capture the traditional rituals performed by local men from the village and hear traditional instruments. Spot a variety of exotic animals that reside within the island.
