Diving on the Independence II in Egypt

MY Independence II has a length of 40m and is 8.5m wide. All decks are covered with sturdy teak wood are designed to perfection. Plus, this yacht is equipped with modern safety equipment and navigation. The 11 crew members can speak English, German, and Arabic so get ready to see and learn varied and plentiful marine life with us.

Boat Interior and Facilities

MY Independence II can welcome a total of 20 passengers on board. There are deluxe cabins and suites on the main deck, and double and twin rooms on the lower deck. The upper deck has one double suite that has big windows that give guests a magnificent ocean view while resting. All cabins are fully air-conditioned and have sofas, entertainment facilities, and private bathrooms.

Passengers can also enjoy the lounge that has a complete audio-video entertainment equipment and a spacious dining area. There are seating areas with couches and daybeds on the first deck and sun deck areas as well as tables in the covered area. There is a spacious place for sunbathing on the second deck.

Restaurant

The Chef on board won’t let passengers go hungry by serving authentic local food and international dishes in buffet style meals. There are complimentary snacks and drinks all day for everyone. Alcohol beverages and spirits are also available on board. Before coming aboard, we recommend guests to indicate if they have any dietary restrictions to enjoy a better service.

Dive Deck

The dive deck of Independence II is complete with everything necessary for diving preparations. It has ample storage boxes for dive gear equipment and a hanging area for wetsuits. There are two compressors on board, free nitrox use and space for divers to rinse their equipment after every dive. Rental equipment is available for a fee. Also, there is a station for cameras and photography with a camera table, charging ports and separate rinsing tanks for U/W cameras.

Itinerary

Brother Island is one of the best diving spots in the world. It is not unusual to see thresher sharks, hammerheads, grey reef sharks, singlet tip and white tip reef sharks. When the weather is not too windy, divers may proceed to explore the wreck NUMIDIA. These islands may be complicated for divers to scout for its wonders because of its strong current and high waves.

Ras Mohamed National Park is also known as The Jewel of Sinai located at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula. This Red Sea Park is one of the most known diving sites in the world. Guests may also visit Tiran Straits, Daedalus, Elphinstone, and St. Johns.
