Hatiku is a traditional Indonesian liveaboard that offers year-round tours around the Indonesian peninsula. Diving on the Hatiku liveaboard in Indonesia
Phinisi boats are traditional Indonesian vessels handcrafted using teak and ironwood. The modern, stylish design and interior make every journey comfortable. It is 38m/124.6 feet long with six professional crew members that ensure to give personal assistance to every passenger.
Boat Interior
Hatiku can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests to its six spacious cabins. There are four deluxe twin and two deluxe double cabins on the lower deck. Each cabin is air-conditioned with private bathrooms, hot and cold showers and storage spaces under the bed for luggage. The indoor salon is air-conditioned and has an A/V entertainment system with the latest movies, while the spacious lounge is suitable for sightseeing and outdoor socialization. The spacious shaded deck has cushioned sitting, perfect for chilling out between dives and excursions. There is a partially shaded area on the sun deck that provides comfort and bean bag chairs for relaxation.
Restaurant
Meals aboard are a delicious wide selection from local and international cuisines. The chef prepares a buffet-style setting together with complimentary drinks and snacks in between meals. The refreshment bar has a full stock of coffee, tea, soft drinks, and other beverages. Alcoholic beverages and spirits are available for purchase. Dietary concerns are strictly followed on this boat and guests have a privilege to add specific dietary requests on their booking form.
Boat Safety
Life jackets, life rafts, fire extinguisher, and other necessary equipment for safety are always accessible. The well-trained staff members are vigilant and ready to manage any emergency that might occur.
Activities and Dive Equipment
There are extensive activities on this liveaboard that can add an extra thrill during the safari. Kayaks and snorkeling give non-divers a chance to view and observe the wonders of the ocean. Healthy reefs, coral gardens, pinnacles, pelagic fish and thousands of marine life species are a delight for underwater photographers.
Hatiku allows enthusiastic photographers to use the camera and photography station on board. There is a camera table, charging stations, storage for U/W cameras and separate rinsing tanks for U/W equipment.
Personal gearboxes are available for each diver, as well as the drying area for wet gear and rinse tanks with fresh water showers. Nitrox is free for those with certification and an updated log book. Rental dive gear and snorkeling equipment are available for an additional charge.
Itinerary
Guests are given refreshments and snacks upon checking in. A short briefing and introduction are presented to provide guests with the safety guidelines and the itinerary plan. The professional dive guides are well-trained to know the diving spots like the back of their hand. Visit Komodo National Park, Waigeo, Batanta Island and Misool to see the most famous places in Indonesia. Komodo dragons only reside on four islands within Komodo National Park. The best time to visit the Indonesian peninsula is during the dry season between April and December.
