Galaxy 720 Liveaboard is a great boat for groups. It has a ENOS satellite location and rescue system. This vessel will take you to the most remote diving areas of Egypt. The Red Sea nurtures more than 1,000 invertebrates and over 200 species of soft and hard coral that forms the basis of the marine-ecosystem that includes thousands of fish including endemic species. It is equipped with advanced safety equipment that will make sure of everyone’s safety. The crew on board will make sure to meet every guest’s expectations and dive guides will accompany the guests to the deep sea wonders. Also, they are well-trained to manage any emergency that might occur.

Diving on the Galaxy 720 Liveaboard in Egypt
Galaxy 720 is one of the top vessels in the Red Sea catalog to explore the seven wonders of the underwater world. This liveaboard built in 2009 and renovated in 2015 makes use of the latest marine technology, with twin 1400 HP MTU engines and super silent generators. This 42m yacht has elegant spacious lounges and rooms.
Boat Interior
The Galaxy 720 can welcome 24 guests in 12 cabins. There are standard rooms on the lower and upper decks with spacious cabins for guests with air-conditioning and private bathrooms. The king-size royal suite is perfectly designed to room large sofas, a TV and a walk-in shower in its bath. This vessel offers complimentary internet access to share great moments from the expeditions with friends and family home. Passengers can relax at the fully air-conditioned saloon to enjoy the sea view from a large window. The couch in the lounge area is a perfect place to relax with a drink from the bar. Guest may also watch the latest movies while drinking an espresso form the coffee machine.
Restaurant
Passengers will enjoy the tasty international and local delicacies on board. There is a buffet style meal in a fully air-conditioned restaurant. Home-made pizza, ice creams, and other snacks are always ready for the afternoon snacks. Other drinks like espresso, spirits, beer, and wine are available for purchase. We recommend passengers to talk to our agents for vegetarian and other special diet requests beforehand.
Dive Deck
The dive deck has compressors and a nitrox membrane. There are hot water showers, toilets and charging points for underwater gadgets. The fresh water making machines can provide water for rinsing and maintaining personal and rental dive gears. Galaxy has enough room for all the necessary safety equipment needed for emergencies as well as life jackets for all the cabins and the saloon. Divers should bring along their certification for verification.
Itinerary
The Galaxy 720 can provide guests with some of the best dives in the Red Sea. There are 17 dives in total including night diving and venturing the most iconic wrecks and reefs of the northern Red Sea. Typically, guests will have the chance to make three dives and a night dive each day.
The Gordon Reef has a vast collection of reef fish, and white-tip reef sharks may be seen sleeping on sand patches. The Woodhouse Reef at Strait of Tiran is known to be the longest reef among the four reefs, and it is home to eagle rays and reef sharks. The Thomas Reef is the smallest reef in the strait and diving here may depend on specific weather condition since the currents are potentially strong. The SS. Thistlegorm is the most famous wreck in the Red Sea. It holds an enormous variety of marine life. Ras Mohamed is one of the most renowned dive sites in the world.
It is possible to visit Egypt all year long, but the best seasons to visit the dive sites are spring and autumn. Divers and non-divers may spend their holiday on board with professional dive guides and the crew, and this would be an unforgettable journey.
