Originally built in 2002, the Galapagos Legend is 92m (301 feet) long and offers 55 cabins to up to 100 guests. With the renovation in 2016, this liveaboard got a modern touch that very few have. All cabins are air-conditioned, and each cabin has lower beds, special bedding, TV and private facilities. All cabins share a magnificent ocean view, while some have even a balcony. With the renovation, a new cabin configuration is available, assuring enjoyment for families and friends who travel together. In addition, satellite telephone service is offered, while the internet is accessible when anchoring at the main islands.
With three different decks, the Galapagos Legend offers a great variety of comfortable and spacious social areas, all without losing its sense of intimacy. Doesn’t matter if you would like to lose yourself in a good book offered at the onboard library, or you would like to let some steam off at the gym, the liveaboard has it all. There is also a swimming pool, jacuzzi, indoor saloon, and a bar area, all aimed for amazing sea time. Additional activities include table games, photo contests, dinghy rides, karaoke or salsa nights, Neptune party and many others. For those in love with astronomy, during the trip, on the moon deck, a stargazing presentation is shared by an expert guide with stories on how previous seamen used constellations as navigation to get to every corner of the seas. Most of the crew are bilingual, speaking Spanish and English, and can help in any moment necessary. However, guides in other languages are also available if a previous request is set during booking.
