Diving on the EcoGalaxy in Galapagos
EcoGalaxy
In the year 2014, the 27 meters (approx. 89 feet) liveaboard was built in Guayaquil. The construction of the catamaran meets all the ecological parameters and standards that decrease the negative impact of tourism in the iconic region. It operates on low fuel consumption and has purifiers, which allows the self-cleaning process that recirculates the fuel. The navigation of the boat is done by the solar energy system. The main itineraries of EcoGalaxy include Santa Cruz, Santa Fe, Seymour, Genovesa, and Isabela. Diving at these sites, you will get an opportunity to swim with Galapagos sharks, hammerheads, silky sharks, whitetip sharks, whale sharks and much more.
Boat Interior
The communal areas of EcoGalaxy have large spaces for the guests to socialize and witness the magnificent and astonishing natural landscapes. The luxurious catamaran EcoGalaxy has 9 stunning and comfortable staterooms for around 16 passengers. Three are located on the upper deck, three on the main deck and the remaining three on the lower deck of the liveaboard. Physically, 18 passengers can be accommodated on board, which gives the advantage to offer more space and facilities for solo travelers. All these cabins have eminent facilities including private bathrooms, fresh/hot water showers, air-conditioning, internal communication through telephone, room service and daily housekeeping throughout the stay. Energy-efficient LED lights are installed, which saves the generator power and fuel.
Deck Area
The sundeck of EcoGalaxy is super spacious. It has plenty of sun loungers, cushioned sofas, and deck chairs so that the divers can relax in the open-air while gazing at the astounding views of the surroundings.
