Diving on the Coral Sea Dreaming in Australia

Coral Sea Dreaming

The 18 meters (approx. feet) compact vessel is custom-built to offer a personalized trip to the phenomenal dive site Great Barrier Reef and its ranging areas Flynn and Milln Reefs. The depth of these sites ranges between 5-30 meters, which makes it a perfect spot for snorkelers and all sorts of divers. You can get an opportunity to swim with plenty of underwater species like reef sharks, turtles, dolphins and see the beauty of coral walls. If you are a novice diver, then there is a special deal of 10 minutes try dive, which is offered absolutely free. Certified divers can have an opportunity to go for an underwater treasure hunt at the Outer Reefs, where you can find plenty of colorful corals (both soft and hard) and diverse marine life.

Boat Interior

The well-built steel-hulled yacht Coral Sea Dreaming has a unique design and offers vital necessities to its guests. The bilingual and experienced crew welcomes a maximum of 12 guests with great hospitality and offers personalized service due to a lesser number of guests. You arrive onboard as a stranger and after the trip depart as friends. There are 4 cabins of 3 private deluxe cabins with double bed, 2 bunk bed cabins for double occupancy and 4 bunk cabins (shared with 4 travelers). All cabins feature AC, fans and comfortable mattresses and pillow to enjoy a good sleep. There is no storage area due to the small size of the boat. It is better to pack your luggage as less as you can. The deck areas are perfect to enjoy the fresh sea breeze and astonishing vistas of the surrounding. You can sleep under the starling sky overhead and wake with the bright sunshine at the Coral Sea.

Deck Area

The dive deck is located at the bow of the boat, which offers enough space for divers to prepare before dive. It is well-equipped with Scuba Pro and AquaLung dive gear (with a computer), Bauer compressor to fill the tanks, and a hanging area for wetsuits. Gear rentals are also available. All the dives are made under the supervision of the divemaster, who is vigilant and keep eagle-eye on every diver and provide assistance when needed. When not engaged in dive, divers can relax on the spacious sundeck, which has hammocks, and deck chairs. It is the best place to chat with fellow diver about the diving experience. You can enjoy the breathtaking views of the gorgeous scenery of Michaelmas Cay.

Food and Entertainment

The size of the boat is small but the services it offers are not less than any other large liveaboard. Freshly prepared meals are served in breakfast, lunch, and dinner with plenty of snacks and drinks like biscuits, tea, coffee, and soft drinks. The cruise director plans daily fun-filled activities for travelers to enjoy every bit of the journey.

When to go

The Coral Sea Dreaming liveaboard offers the most exotic reef location, which depends on the climatic condition and water temperature. The visit to the Reef locations may differ from trip to trip so that you have amazing visibility of coral and marine life.
