The 35 meters (approx. 112 feet) splendid liveaboard was completely refurbished from every inch to square in 2016. The renovation was made to meet the luxurious standards and utmost facilities to the guests of the Coral Expedition I. The powerful engines installed in the catamaran makes the boat super silent and stable to cruise at a top speed of 12 knots per hour. It is a perfect choice for travelers, who are prone to motion sickness. A modern navigation system and latest safety arrangements are made to challenge all the primary emergency situation. The open bridge policy of the Coral Expeditions allows you to spend time with the Captain and his team. The amazing liveaboard cruise in the most diverse and rugged Australian coastline. Depending on the choice of diver, 10, 11, or 12-night adventurous trip can be selected on the best itineraries including Broom to Darwin, wonders of Kimberley (Montgomery Reef, Hathaway’s Hideaway and Mitchell Falls), the Great Barrier Reef (Cape York and Arnhem Land), Tiwi Islands, and Wessel Islands.
Boat Interior
The well-furnished liveaboard reflects modern features and lavish style inside out. Spacious enough to accommodate 46 travelers in 23 cozy cabins. Guests are provided with the utmost service and vital amenities. You can choose from twin, double (perfect for a family), and deluxe room. These decks are located on all three decks of the Coral Expeditions I with all the en-suite facilities like a private bathroom, air-conditioning with a temperature control system, ample storage space to keep the belongings, and portholes so that you don’t miss any view in the surrounding. The are many communal areas if you wish to socialize with fellow travelers. These areas include an indoor lounge, a well-stocked bar, a restaurant-like dining room, an informative library, and sundeck.
Deck Area
All the dives are performed from the dive deck with a manually-lowered dive platform. It has enough space for divers to prepare themselves for the adventurous dive. Open bridge policy allows you to watch the Captain of the lavish Coral Expeditions controlling the yacht in the vigorous water. The wheel-house is located on the main deck. Whereas, if you want to enjoy the magnificent views of the surrounding, then the sundeck is the perfect spot on the boat. Here you can lay on the sun loungers or deck chairs with a glass of chilled drink.
Food and Entertainment
There are lots of entertainment activities onboard as well as on the surface excursions, which is planned by the cruise director. To beat the heat, the cozy indoor salon has multiple in-house activities like board games, LED TV, DVDs to watch your favorite movie, and library. You can also watch the captured diving slideshow on the large screen with fellow travelers. While on land excursions, you can enjoy live BBQ prepared by the Coral Expedition chef. The full board meal is a part of your trip and is prepared in a hygienic environment. Options of Western and local cuisines are served in buffet with few tempting desserts.
