The custom-built lavish liveaboard MV Ambai was launched in July 2012 by the Wallacea Dive Cruises fleet. It is a traditionally designed vessel, constructed from scratch and designed by a marine biologist, Jérôme Doucet, a French-born who used his experience of almost a decade of sailing in the Indonesian Sea. MV Ambai is specifically designed for scuba diving with all the eminent facilities. It assures to provide a comfortable and safe dive cruise adventure. The main itineraries of MV Ambai include Banda, Raja Ampat, and Komodo. Boat Interior – stylish exterior with comfortable and furnished interior
MV Ambai is a well-built sturdy vessel, designed and styled to provide maximum comfort to the vacationers onboard. It has the capacity to host 16 passengers in 8 spacious cabins. These cabins can be opted for double occupancy, as it has a double bed and bunk beds. All these cabins are on the lower deck except the 2 master cabins. The 2 master suites positioned on the upper deck are comparatively large in size and provide a charismatic view of the surrounding from the large picture windows. These rooms are embellished with luxurious facilities like a/c with a temperature control system, hot/fresh showers, storage area, and side table with the bed. A daily housekeeping service is provided throughout the stay.
Deck Area – spacious and wide
The splendid vessel has a large dive deck which is partially covered and has a well-placed easy access diving platform. There are individual cabinets, where you can hang the wetsuits and store diving gears. Ambai liveaboard has its personal fiberglass boats which take you to the land excursions and dive sites. The cushioned lounges and chairs on the sundeck are perfect for a short nap or sunbathing. You can mesmerize yourself with the breathtaking vistas of the surroundings while enjoying the massage service.
Food and Entertainment
The indoor salon is a communal area which is incorporated with ultra-modern technologies including a/c, large TV, DVD, mini-library, fish ids, and diving magazine. You can watch and share your diving videos and pictures on the big screen with fellow divers. The dining area is well-designed with a wooden table and chairs and gives a restaurant like-feel. You can enjoy three buffet meals a day with a western and local menu. The food served is not only delicious but also prepared in a hygienic environment by an expert chef. Snacks and multiple beverages are served all day long to make sure no one stays hungry.
