The Aldebaran liveaboard is a member of Scuba Adventure Aldebaran, that offers
the best itinerary packages to explore the Red Sea. Passengers can experience
luxury accommodation and a heart-warming welcome from the professional crew on
board. The travel destination includes the most remote areas that only liveaboards
can visit. The itinerary consists of scuba diving in the North, visiting the wrecks of
Abu Nuhas, crossing the gulf to the Sinai Peninsula, going to the most exciting World
War wreck of Thistlegorm. The Red Sea has thousands of marine life species that
amaze divers. Aldebaran can guide every tourist to have a wonderful holiday that
they will never forget.

Diving on the Aldebaran in Egypt

M/Y Aldebaran is 35 meters/114 feet long with a speed of 12 knots per hour. The
cabins are good for sharing to make the safari even more exciting. Aldebaran crew
serves delicious meals and a variety of snacks on board. Safety is the utmost priority
of the onboard team, they are prepared for emergencies. This vessel tours the Red
Sea all year and everyone is invited to come aboard.

Boat Interior

This luxury liveaboard can accommodate up to 20 guests in six comfortable deluxe
cabins.
There are two triple and two suite cabins, suitable for sharing with family and friends.
Each room has individual air-conditioning, private bathrooms with towels and
bathrobes, storage spaces for luggage and a mini bar. The saloon has an
audio-video entertainment system to watch the latest movies, and the small library
offers magazines and marine life books. It is a perfect place to spend time with fellow
passengers. The covered outdoor lounge and open sun deck are located on the
upper deck with the sky deck and loungers.

Restaurant

The comfortable home-style setting dining area is adjacent to the saloon. Here,
guests can experience VIP treatment from crew members aboard. Delicious variety
of local and international food served with tasty fresh ingredients. The buffet-style
meals together with complimentary drinks are sure to make guests have more time
for socialization. Passengers may purchase alcohol, beer, and other beverages on
board. Dietary restrictions are meticulously observed on this boat, may we remind
guests to add their requests upon booking to serve them better.

Dive deck

The large dive deck is at the rear of the boat, offering personal storage baskets,
wetsuit hangers, and a camera table. Next, to the dive deck, there is a spacious dive
platform where divers can move freely during the expedition. Dive guides ensure
divers to have a great time during the underwater excursion. Snorkeling is also
available for those who different adventures. Nitrox and rental equipment are
available with a prior notice given.

Itinerary

Aldebaran crew will welcome guests with complimentary drinks and snacks upon
arrival. The Cruise Director will give a short orientation briefing before the cruise
starts. Passengers can set up their luggage and familiarize themselves with the
cruise ship. Aldebaran offers three to four dives a day including night dives every day
and professional dive guides to ensure the safety of the divers during the expedition.
St. John is located at the Northern Tropic and offers abundant marine life and
healthy corals. The colors of the soft corals are one of the best in this area. Huge
gorgonians, beautiful coral gardens, and safe anchorages are safe for night diving.
Grey sharks, silver-tip sharks, hammerhead sharks, and white-tip reef sharks are
often spotted out of the blue. Zabargad is an excellent dive spot to see the enormous
mountain reaching out of the water, surrounded by circling reef and lagoon. There
are a variety of reef fish, corals and a couple of wrecks. There are other dives spots
that divers should explore including, the famous Ras Mohammad National Park,
Brothers with small islands, Daedalus with a huge reef that rises from the seabed in the middle of the ocean. The Red Sea safari is open all through the year and the
best time to visit is during the autumn and spring seasons.
