The LEFEET S1 Pro is an update on the tech brand’s first modular underwater scooter. The Pro model has really scaled up everything in terms of power while keeping down the overall footprint of this upgraded and welcome addition to the market.
With the same modular design, you can attach two engines together for increased pull and power, set one on a scuba tank, attach to a paddle board or go full Ironman and strap them onto the side of your legs.
Check out the stats on the upgrade down below. Check them out if you’re looking to add fun to freediving, scuba diving, or to playing around from a yacht or shore.

No Longer a Kickstarter
Where the first S1 had modules, the extra guts of the Pro version really raise the bar and puts LEFEET’s newest water scooter both among the best underwater engines and one of the more affordable ones too.
For heavier divers, the first LEFEET scooter was pretty good. But it was better for people less than 150 lbs. However, it was done, increasing the thrust while shrinking the unit was an engineering feat. In the ocean, with scuba gear and just one S1 Pro engine in our hands, it proved easy to control and fun. It made swimming against the current much easier.
A Solid Mid-Market Winner
The natural comparison to ScubaJet’s scooter is interesting. There are areas where LEFEET doesn’t match ScubaJet’s performance, but there are some design issues that LEFEET compensates for. The price of the S1 Pro–substantially less than the ScubaJet–makes the upgraded model and the bundle of accessories a worthy product for many different activities and people.
The fact that it can be easily transported in a backpack also ups its stock. Where all underwater scooters lose–on audio disturbances–LEFEET’s motor also makes quite a bit of noise. But when attached to a scuba tank or mounted to the legs, the experience is just a bit quieter.
We’ve not yet tested the S1 Pro on a paddleboard, but we’ll update this review as soon as we get the chance. All in all, an impressive upgrade to a smart, affordable water scooter.
