Similar to the Stearns Series the Onyx boating vest comes with 3 adjustable straps for excellent comfort. It is also approved from the US Coast Guard. A cool and significant feature adding more comfort and convenience would be the added padding around the neck. However, due to this additional cushioning, it becomes quite hard to move your head around. The life jacket is provided with large armholes for better movement when participating in different water-related activities.
On the whole, the Onyx General life vest is a highly comfortable and convenient option. It’s suitable for many water sports, but keep in mind that you will have some issues with your head movement. It’s very lightweight, and you can store it easily anywhere (whether in your dinghy, or in your cabin cruiser) without much effort.
