The perfect combination of a fish and ski boat, the 1875 Crossover XS truly lives up to its name. The IPS (integrated power strake) with the reverse chine makes the Crossover plane faster and turn better, which is ideal for water sports and starting fast in the skinnies.
Catering to both serious anglers and families, this 18-foot big water hybrid is one of the most—if not the most—versatile boat in Lund’s lineup, making it the most popular. With plenty of storage and amazing performance we can see why.
Available in both a 19- and 21-foot model, it boasts a dual-console walk-through windshield floor plan and a high bimini top that provides good shade or disappears when packed away.
It features the newly-redesigned center rod locker that now opens all the way up for easy access and now accommodates ten rods instead of five. But you can easily get a few more in two if that’s required.
One of the unique features of the 1875 Crossover XS is this deep multi-storage center compartment. Not only good for rods, but big enough for skis or wakeboard or deflated towables.
In addition, a 24-gallon rear livewell, a Kicker stereo with two speakers, port and starboard under console drawers that can lock, and the SportTrak accessory brackets for mounting and relocating your fishing accessories anywhere you’d like on the side of your boat.
The XS is its name stands for the extra two rear jump seats that when folded down, offer you a nice aft casting platform to go with the one in the bow.
Notable options include a rear sun pad and bow cushions for added versatility, a sport top for all-day comfort, and a ski pylon for water sports.
The 1875 Crossover XS carries a 175-horsepower rating for the 18-footer and 200 horses on the 21. Thanks to its IPS hull design and wide beam, it delivers a stable and dry ride even on big water like the Great Lakes.

Where to buy:
Getting the upper hand on both fish and ducks with the rugged Lund 1870 Predator is what designers of this jon boat had in mind.
This all-welded utility comes in a center console (CC), side console (SC), and tiller layout. The CC model comes standard with port and starboard rod storage, console rod holders, a heavy-duty leaning post, a 23-gallon bow livewell (not available on the tiller floor plan), and enough room to fit all your gear.
All three models feature Lund’s SportTrak/ProTrak gunnel system, which allows you to attach any hunting hardware or accessories to it. Plus, standard non-skid floor and gunnel liner, and four color options to choose from.
The 1870 Predator delivers steady handling and maneuverability and is quick to get on plane. Thanks to its Mod-V hull design–V in the bow, flattening out toward the aft–this Jon boat excels in both skinny and rough waters.
With the Lund-designed hulls that minimize teetering, casting or shooting from the platforms is a pleasure. This is one of the best new Jon boats.

At 17’9”, the Lund Renegade 1775 comes packed with fishing features like no other Mod-V fishing boat and at a price that won’t break the bank. Like a jon boat with more tricks, there’s space to easily have 4 anglers casting at the same time.
It features one of the most technologically advanced livewell systems on the market, the ProLong Livewell System. Unlike the aerated livewells, this two-pump design keeps the water fresher and the fish calmer. Recycle, refresh or pump out is down mechanically and easily.

The beautiful fiberglass side console houses all your gauges and switches as well as plenty of legroom on an easy to keep clean vinyl floor. While tilt steering wheel and good instrumentation gives you that race car feeling, hydraulic power-steering is not standard in this model.

The Renegade is available in both a 17’ and 18’ model and offers a crappie option which comes with a bow livewell and multiple bow seat bases.

Featuring practical functionality, a spacious layout, and plenty of motor for tubing and skiing, the Lund 1775 Adventure is a great boat for both fishing and family fun on the water. Winner of the 2019 Innovation Award from the Minnesota Boat Show.
It’s the little brother to the Crossover from Lund. The two are almost indistinguishable, both being extremely versatile for different crew in different waters doing different things well.
The Adventure series lineup comes in two different models, the Sport model which boasts custom dual consoles with a walk-through windshield and the Side Console model (SS) which features only a driver’s side console.
The integrated power strake does such an incredible job getting the boat up and planing. It’s only a matter of time before all new boats are designed this way, and combined with the reverse chines that cut down on teetering, this genius of this Lund boat will likely go unnoticed by most casual anglers and boaters.
The Adventure comes standard with two cockpit seats as well as two rear jump seats, a spacious bow with plenty of storage space including a cubby upfront—great to store easy-to-reach accessories, a deep and lockable center rod storage, and a 23-gallon rear livewell.

The 1875 Pro-V Bass XS boasts a multi-species hull with a bass boat style deck, its layout offers a driver’s side console with optional passenger console. As far as 19-footers go, it’s going to be easier to store, drive and maintain than the 2075 Pro-V beast. The 1875 is also more affordable.
It features a 28-gallon aft livewell which comes with the ProLong Plus Livewell System, the SportTrak accessory brackets for mounting and sliding fishing accessories anywhere along the side of your boat, port and starboard rod straps, a center rod locker that can hold up to fifteen 9’ rods, and a small cooler compartment that also functions as a convenient step to get on the open bow casting platform.

A true tournament beast, the 2075 Pro-V was designed to provide serious fishermen with the first-class platform they need to get the hole-shot jump on other anglers, eating waves at 60 mph.
Built to catch walleye, musky, salmon, crappie, and bass, this 20’ tournament fishing boat model boasts a super-wide beam (102”), which besides offering more fishable and livable space as well as an ample bow walkway, it also delivers outstanding stability in rough waters.
The 25-gallon aft livewell features the ProLong Plus Livewell System, a two-pump technology that allows maximum oxygenation, thus creating a healthier and calmer environment for your catch.
The Pro-V will also be a fantastic family boat, a fun and practical cottage craft that can transport plenty and is elegant enough–when fishing/hunting gear is packed away–to cruise into the bay for lunch with your best boat shoes on.
Other standard features include a port gunnel rod storage (only available in the large Pro-Vs), lockable gunnel drawers as well as convenient under-console drawers, steering-hydraulic with tilt, the exclusive SportTrak brackets for mounting and relocating rod holders, downriggers, and other fishing accessories anywhere along the side of your boat, and plenty of dry storage compartments that allow you to stay organized especially during tournaments.

The Lund Pro-V 2075 is rated for a 300 horsepower motor and will outperform most other tourney boats because of the Lund hull design (IPS/reverse chines).

Maybe would like some bolsters in the bow. But maybe not.
Where to buy:
For the fishermen who value depth, they’ll be glad to know the upgraded 1975 Tyee, one of the deepest boats in the Lund’s lineup. This 20-footer is amazing for fishing but also an awesome water sports craft. Lund’s famous IPS hull design provides one of the smoothest, driest, and most comfortable rides in this class of boat.
Every inch of space in the 1975 Tyee is excellently utilized in order to meet both seasoned anglers’ desires and active families’ needs. The 2021 model is a bit wider and decked out with charger ports and customizable components.
This is a versatile boat with hints of the Crossover, but the V-hull, IPS hull under higher freeboards makes it better suited for big water action too.
It features a versatile bow with the option to convert the front casting platform into two lounge seats for comfortable cruising—bow bolsters (backrests) are already included as standard.
There’s also an optional cooler in the bow along with nicely laid out storage compartments, including one for a trolling motor centered in the middle with an eye for keeping good balance and planing faster.
A long center rod locker with enough room to accommodate up to ten 9.5-foot fishing rods, port and starboard lockable gunnel storage, a 24-gallon aft livewell, the SportTrak accessory brackets for mounting and relocating your fishing accessories anywhere you’d like on the side of your boat, and plenty of seating including three seats in the cockpit as well as two jump seats in the rear, which can easily fold down to convert into a roomy aft casting platform.
The 1975 Tayee comes standard with hydraulic steering with tilt as well as a Kicker stereo with two speakers.
An optional ski pylon is available for those using this as a water sport beast. It’s handling and high freeboard make it great for getting up to speed and turning sharply without bringing too much spray in.
The Lund 1975 Tyee is rated for a 225 horsepower motor and price difference for the upgrade means you won’t be disappointed shelling out a little extra for what you’ll get.

Looking for a big water deep-V aluminum fishing boat that can also accommodate the entire family for fun days on the water? Then check out the 2025 Impact XS, an upgraded version of the 2018 innovation award-winning model (Minnesota Boat Show).
One of the great features of this model and what truly sets her apart from other Lund series, such as the Crossover and the Tyee, is her massive bow casting platform—it offers plenty of fish-fighting space as well as loads of conveniently located storage compartments. In the bow, you’ll also find an 11-gallon livewell and cargo nets that are great to store easy-to-reach accessories.
This model also delivers some of the benefits you would find in the Pro-V series but at a more affordable price point. It’s also not so much a pure tourney boat like the V, making it more comfortable and more popular with the rest of the family.
Standard features include the port rod storage and the center rod locker, hydraulic steering with tilt, handy port and starboard under console tackle drawers, four seats as well as two rear jump seats that fold down to offer you a fully functioning large aft casting platform.
There’s also a 24-gallon aft livewell, the SportTrak accessory brackets for mounting and relocating your fishing accessories anywhere you’d like on the side of your boat, and a top hider to keep the sport top out of the way but still within easy reach for sunny and rainy days.
The 2025 Impact XS boasts a walk-through windshield layout and Lund’s IPS2 hull design, which we love and expect to see in other fishing boats more and more in the coming years. It’s noticeable when turning sharply, giving both control and responsiveness that’s hard to experience elsewhere. Combined with the reverse chines that prevent teetering the Impact will plane quickly without that irritating need to punch the throttle only to have to pull back.
This model is rated for a 200 horsepower motor and will cut through big Lake Michigan waves like a warm knife through butter.

A Short History of the Lund Boats
In 1948 G. Howard Lund built himself an aluminum duck boat that he could transport on the top of his car. Eventually someone from a boat company noticed it and ordered 50 models just like it.
Lund’s boat was noticed for its craftsmanship, a factor in it becoming known shortly thereafter as the “world’s finest fishing boats” and being produced by the Lund Boat Company.
Most fishing tournaments in the northern states of the US and in Canada will have anglers driving boats with the Lund name along the side. The reason for this is the craftsmanship that Howard Lund started out with more than 70 years ago.
While Lund boats include around 30 different models, they are all variations–increased comfort or water sports–on the same successful fishing boat design. There’s going to be a boat that fits everyone’s needs–just as long as fishing is also one of them.
The especially amazing integrated power strake and reverse chime design is particularly lauded for its performance and stability factor, something that is just great for bolting out of the gate toward the right fishing hole and standing on the casting decks.
While design is premium, there are some questions about materials used in Lund boats. Having a wooden deck and wooden transom on aluminum boats can result in a nightmare scenario in the rare occasions where water leaks through the floor.
But alongside innovation awards for Lund boats, most owners are proud of them.
Today, Lund boats are owned by Brunswick Corporation, a company that also owns Boston Whaler, Crestliner boats, manufacturing cabin cruisers and bowrider boats. Brunswick also owns Mercury outboards, found on all Lund boats.

Yes, Lund boats can be used in saltwater. Just make sure you give your boat a thorough fresh water rinse after each use. With that said, even if you don’t intend on using your Lund boat in saltwater, it is important to regularly clean your vessel–especially when you’re preparing it for prolonged storage.

That depends on the kind of fishing you do. Do you usually fish in shallow waters or large lakes? Do you usually go bass, crappie, or musky fishing?
The Lund 2075 Pro-V, for example, is a multi-species boat while the Lund Renegade 1775 was designed for bass fishing in shallow waters that also offers a crappie option.
For that reason, we’ve created this complete guide on the best Lund boats in 2021.

What lund model is best for big water?
I bought a 1997 Lund ANGLER 1600. People ask me if I have the deep V. Is this consider a deep V?
Just bought a predator 1870 sc and was looking to purchase a trolling motor . What shaft length should I be installing ?
I Have 3 questions regarding 1650 angler
What is the width of the door between the consoles on a 1650 angler sport ?
where can i find a picture of the optional sport top
What is the boat trailer length for storage when the swing tongue is at the angled position
thank you
What size of motor can I put on my 16 ft pro sport Lund
Hey Tom. Assuming you’re talking about the ’98 model, you can put a 90hp motor on it. If it’s in good shape, it’ll be a lot of fun for a lot of things. The difference in price between a 70 and 90 outboard is small enough that you should size up if you can.
Got a 2022 baron, monster 300 15 kicker 12” hummingbird 72” ultera although it has a transducer I forgot to get additional bow fishing finder to hook it up, the blue box compartment could be built better, it was delivered in October 2021 so still garage candy. My boats new home is Big Mac. I love the boat but suggest getting the upgraded Lund logo is just the wow factor. Also getting pre rigs for the kicker look amazing done by factory. The trailer is perfect and if you put it in the water the right way trailing this monster is crazy easy, but If the ramp is back water you need to get a tug because you can put your truck underwater pretty easy. The bimini top is amazing on the Baron because it connects to the windshield it is beefy and unlike other models the top doesn’t get thrashed at top speeds and in huge chops, and you won’t need to hold it. Lund has the best engine mechanics in all the United States so be assured that baby’s gonna be turn key and perfect. The sport track system is freaking awesome!
