FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What are the best jet bodyboards?

The best jet bodyboards are the Wave Jam products. The Wave Jam boards are lightweight, look and feel like regular bodyboards with the added power of the jet. These boards can handle all water conditions and are excellent for catching waves. The Kymera board is another great option, however, the boards are harder to find on the market.

Our ultimate choice is the Seabob, less of a bodyboard and more of an aquatic toy. This is an excellent option for those looking for a fun way to explore the surface, whether it be for snorkeling or speeding along the water’s surface.

Check out the list of our favorite jet bodyboards:

What are jet body boards used for?

Like electric surfboards, jet body boards are used for speeding across the water’s surface and can also be used to catch waves. They are mostly used for recreational activities however they can also be used by lifeguards in rescuing people from drowning.

How do jet body boards work?

Jet body boards can be used exactly like a classic bodyboard. They are designed to float on the water’s surface and carry you through waves. Hey Chris. I’d be super skeptical about a 70-dollar body board. Can you send a link to it? We’d like to test it just to expose that it’s garbage. By comparison, a new Kymera will run more than 4-grand in greenback currency. Thanks for the question.

I’m looking to purchase an electric body board.

You reviewed them recently, can you tell me what the Kymera retails for?

Also a similar product is coming through my FB feed on sale for around $70 Aussie dollars. Do you think these are legit?

Thank you for a great guide.
I was just wondering if you’ve reviewed any cheaper jet bodyboards that are an okay mix between price and quality?
