All-new for 2021 is the Dauntless 220, an elegant and versatile watercraft that effortlessly accommodates both serious anglers’ conveniences as well as active families amenities—perfect for the bay and offshore trips.
Starting at the bow, there’s a spacious elevated casting deck with a large fishbox underneath it—the bow cushion in this model is optional.
In front of the center console, you’ll find a super comfortable double lounge seat—unique on a boat of this size. The center console also houses a head with a removable porta-potti along with the helm station featuring SmartCraft gauges and the optional Fusion stereo. The helm seat is reversible with locking backrest and it comes with an integrated cooler.
At the transom, you’ll find two casting platforms as well as three rod holders—additional rod holders can be found in the bow. Across the transom, there are two seats with folding backrests together with a swim platform with a telescoping ladder.
Notable options for the Dauntless 220 include a hardtop for securing some shade, a reversible pilot seat with livewell, a ski pylon for watersports, a bow pedestal fishing seat for added comfort, and a trolling motor panel for enhanced fishing capability.
As for the test numbers, when powered by the Mercury 250 V8 CMS, the Dauntless 220 delivered a top speed of 51.3 mph at 6000 rpm. Planing speed was reached at 3.6 seconds.
