Teva Mush Flip Flops are among the most popular for a good reason. The Mush II is a standard, affordable pair that has a durability beyond the price tag. It’s ideal for everyday use and has tested well while camping, sailing and during beach activities.
As far as thong flip flops go, the EVA sole and canvas upper of this Teva make it one of the most comfortable too. The Mush upper sole, a soft proprietary blend of foam, molds to the shape of one’s feet after a few days’ of use.
There’s little speculation required when considering this model. Leather alternatives will always be more appealing options when minimizing sweat is a priority. The treads are not especially impressive–though not mediocre by any means. Otherwise, there’s good value found in these Mush flip flops.

In fact, the experience is pretty much alike (Reef vs Teva). The EVA sole with a softer upper sole that takes on the curves of your foot are found on both. The Mush II is, similarly, extremely comfortable and totally simple.
It’s hard to choose a cheaper product when it’s so clearly not going to be as comfortable and it will likely not last as long.
These Teva flip flops, the pair that we tested over a year, have been out camping, pounding pavement, sailing, flying and have been tossed about without any sign of wear and tear. The tread on the bottom has worn down a bit and the grip is, therefore, not too good on a slippery surface. But these aren’t for hiking, nor are they priced as if they are.
On the other hand, some casual skateboarding for transport and jogging for the bus isn’t a problem.
Choose leather if your feet don’t do well in flip flops. Take a look at boat shoes if you want something more amphibious. For the price, there’s probably always room in your closet for a comfortable and simple pair of flip flops like these Tevas.

Frequently asked questions
They’re simple flip flops that have an affordable appeal. Not cheap by any means, but not expensive either. They have a soft sole and a thong strap that doesn’t irritate between the toes. The Teva Mush flip flops are pretty good, actually. Good enough for urban walking and great for the beach.
