Apart from the Sport Brella having a 210D Polyester canopy and Super Brella having a 190D Polyester canopy, a few more design disparities make them different from each other. One of them is the absence of top wind vents on the Super Brella beach umbrella.
They are also differentiated by the telescoping pole that features a metal tip supported by the steel crew (Sport Brella) and the same pole but with a plastic tip supported by the nylon clip (Super Brella).
There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to beach umbrella sizes. Some are designed to be used by multiple people and are therefore taller while others are meant to protect just a single person from the UV rays.
As for Sport Brella, it’s 8-foot tall when open which suits most families. And even though it doesn’t tilt as some other beach umbrellas do, you can still get enough shade when at the beach.
