All surfboards from South Bay Board Co. are designed to be performance-focused and semi-beginner suitable. This Hybrid surfboard is not an exception – it is one of the only surfboards on the market with a soft top and a hard fiberglass bottom made from bamboo. Not only is each shape custom-designed but it is also tested to ensure the best performance out in the wild ocean of the surfer’s choice. You get full-length wooden stringers, 6 ounces of resin for additional durability and tapered rails combined with a rocket-style nose that provides the best possible speed. There are 4 large FCS Quad fins, a fin key and a leash for competitions that are built to guarantee you success. Choose the size you will feel the most comfortable with, research the beach that is surf-friendly (our tip: start locally–check out these surfing beaches in California), and paddle your way through the waves. You don’t need to be a professional to secure the benefits of this surfboard – a desire to learn is more than enough.
