Features

This Radio Flyer cart is considered a three-in-one folding cart because it has three modes of use. Its Get Out and Play system offers a two-rider seating mode, hauling mode, and bench seating mode.

A two-rider seating mode allows you to transport two toddlers. Meanwhile, the hauling mode lets you load various equipment (such as beach essentials like towels, dry bags, and beach blankets) in the cart and move them from point A to B. It is collapsible by pulling a strap in the middle of the cart flatly with one hand. When folded, it is compact and can slide into narrower spaces and corners, be it in your car or garage.

What we like

You can fold this cart with just one hand. It is easy to fold and store, fitting in any storage compartment. Relatively, it is also lightweight. Whether you are keeping it at home or transporting it in your trunk, you won’t have difficulties finding space for it.

Consequently, this folding cart is easy to assemble. The same can be said about the canopy. Storage on the side is provided for the canopy when not in use. If you are strolling on a good day without the sun present, you will find this feature helpful.

Of course, we also appreciate the canopy of the Radio Flyer 3-in-1 EZ Fold Wagon With Canopy. It works great under the scorching heat of the sun, providing ample UV protection for your kids. It proves useful during light rains, too.

This cart is easy to maneuver and turns relatively smoothly. It rolls, steers, and pulls easily, especially on flat surfaces and clear pavements. Indeed, it works great for short strolls along challenging terrains or long walks along easy paths.

This collapsible wagon’s DuraClean fabric is easy to maintain. If the worst happens and it rips or breaks, you can remove and replace it with a new fabric.

What we don’t like

One issue that many users deal with is this cart’s wheels. They tend to fall off when the cart is lifted. During our research, we found a couple of instances where they even fell off during use on bumpy terrain. This problem can be dangerous if you are not mindful or careful while transporting your kids using this cart.

After a few months, the front wheels can get sand and dirt in them making them tricky to pull. As you use this cart over time, you may experience wheels getting stuck while in use. Using a brush to remove any particles fixes this, but it would be better if it came with more durable all-terrain wheels that can course through any surface.

A foot brake would also be a welcome improvement for the Radio Flyer 3-in-1 EZ Fold Wagon With Canopy. Right now, there is no way to lock the cart in place. Essentially, you can’t be confident about leaving your kids unattended while riding this wagon.

If you need a versatile and functional folding cart for one or two kids plus all the gear you’d otherwise haul in a backpack, this particular Radio Flyer cart is a good choice for you.

While this cart is built for carrying toddlers, it may also be used to transport up to 150 lbs of cargo. As noted earlier, the wheels are something of an issue

Radio Flyer sells another EZ Fold Wagon without a canopy. But for a little extra the canopy is a good investment as it can’t be added onto the cheaper model later. There’s also a push & pull version of this one that costs quite a bit more (around $200) but it also provides a more pram-like experience.

Overall, this collapsible cart is a good investment for a get outside easy. It proves useful whenever you go out for a walk at the park or hit the beach.
